Opened in early 2019, Quest NewQuay is the largest serviced apartment complex in the Quest network, comprising 221 units. The building is just a few steps from a tram into the city, and it's within easy walking distance of the best of Docklands, including the Melbourne Star observation wheel, Archie Brothers Cirque Electrique arcade-themed bar, and sustainable brewery Urban Alley. The District Docklands shopping centre is also an easy stroll away, complete with a Hoyts cinema that bills itself as "Australia's most technologically advanced cinema" – powered recliner seats, two Xtremescreen auditoriums and Ben and Jerry's ice cream make for a very comfortable cinema experience.
Got tickets to a big game or concert? You can also walk easily to Marvel Stadium from the property.
The apartments in Quest NewQuay are spacious and comfortable, ranging from studios up to three-bedroom units. Every apartment has a washing machine and dryer, a kitchenette, basic cooking facilities and other comforts of home that make long stays a breeze. Every single apartment also has its own private balcony, and on the upper floors views over the lights of Docklands and the city are just gorgeous.
Whether you are staying for business or pleasure, there are plenty of things to keep you occupied at Quest NewQuay, including a gymnasium, business centre, conference facilities and a rooftop with a barbecue and entertainment area for use by all guests. And there is off-street parking for $35 a day.
Although there is no restaurant on site, Quest NewQuay has deals with nearby restaurants, including Berth and Cargo, so guests can charge their meals directly to their rooms and pay the entire bill on checkout. Of course, self-catering is also an option (there is a small IGA supermarket across the street), and for those who want to go further afield Melbourne CBD is just a quick tram ride away.
