Thanks to a partnership between luxury property developer Beulah and world-class hospitality chain Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, an ultra-luxurious and sky-high urban resort is coming to South Bank.

It's set to be part of a nearly three-billion-dollar development project by Beulah called STH BNK, a massive mini-metropolis that will span two separate high-rise structures. The skyscrapers are set to become Australia's tallest towers and will also be home to the tallest vertical garden in the world at a length of 5.5 kilometres (nearly 1.5 times the length of the Tan running track).

The hotel will be in the top section of the western tower and will include 210 rooms. Guests will arrive via a Sky Lobby situated on the 63rd floor, where they'll be able to check-in and take in panoramic views over Melbourne's city skyline, beachfront and the Royal Botanical Gardens. The hotel will also offer a world-class integrated health and wellness experience, a sprawling rooftop restaurant and bar and multiple event spaces.

While the exact details are still being hammered out, you can count on it being opulent. Four Seasons holds the greatest number of Forbes Travel Guide Five-Stars ever awarded to a single brand, and across the many restaurants housed within its hotels, the brand boasts a total of 27 Michelin Stars.

Construction is set to commence in late 2022 and is expected to complete in late 2027 or early 2028. To learn more about this project, head to the STH BNK website.
