Time Out says

It’s a rite of passage for every Victorian to make a trip to see the 12 Apostles (well, more like eight Apostles these days) at least once, but a luxurious new addition will have locals coming back to visit again and again.

A massive hot springs resort is slated to open along the Great Ocean Road, less than five minutes by car from the famed limestone stacks, featuring a state-of-the-art bathing precinct, spa house and accommodation.

Set just a couple of kilometres back from the Great Ocean Road coastline, you’ll be able to watch the rolling waves while you soak in geothermal pools, creating a truly blissful experience. The resort will include 150 luxury eco-pods for overnight stays, a twelve-room spa facility as well as food and beverage offerings. Think of it as a one-stop shop for a relaxing retreat.

The site is home to a natural hot spring resource, making it renewable and sustainable, while still preserving the pristine nature of its surroundings.

The development has been given the green light and is currently seeking a buyer to bring it to life, with the opening date still to be confirmed. In the meantime, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more details.
