Victoria is stunning to look at, be that in real life or on film. A new series called Victoria on Film is reuniting the stars of some of the best Victorians films to give fans a fresh insight into what went on behind the scenes.
Actor Shane Jacobson and ABC Radio National journalist and presenter Beverly Wang take turns hosting Victoria on Film every second Saturday starting September 26. Over the course of those weeks, Jacobson and Wang will be chatting with the stars from films like Romulus, My Father, Ride Like a Girl, The Dressmaker, Crackerjack, Mary and Max and Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears. The films were all shot in Victoria, showcasing regions like the Great Ocean Road, the Wimmera and even Melbourne's Flemington Racecourse.
Jacobson and Wang will be joined for each episode by a star-studded line-up of guests from the relevant films, including Eric Bana, Don Hany, Adam Elliot, Osamah Sami, Rebecca Gibney, Essie Davis and Rachel Griffiths.
Victoria on Film launches September 26 with Crackerjack plus stars Judith Lucy and Mick Molloy. Following episodes include:
