¡Ole! It’s time to don your frilliest dress as the critically acclaimed traditional flamenco show Authentic Flamenco is set to return to Melbourne/Naarm this June. 

In partnership with Fever and the Royal Opera of Madrid, Authentic Flamenco presents Angeles Gabaldon will run for three nights only between Friday, June 21 and Sunday, June 23 at Melbourne's Capitol Theatre.

Following a successful seasons in North America and Brazil, the enrapturing company will showcase the rich heritage of flamenco, the traditional art form that dates back to the 18th century and is based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain. 

During the 65-minute live presentation, audiences will witness lightning-fast footwork and be whisked away on a journey of fiery passion and emotion, featuring award-winning Spanish artists Ángeles Gabaldón and Alejandro Rodríguez as dancers, Inma la CarboneraMaría Antonia Fernández, El Picuo and Miguel González Angeriz as vocalists, and Rosa Escobar López on viola.
