Have you ever laid back, listened to a soundtrack and thought 'this is so delicious, I could eat it?' That's basically the vibe of Sensory, which Sugar Mountain's creators describe as an "experimental restaurant" and "a multi-dimensional, tactile experience, where different disciplines – food, sound, and visuals – come together in a 60 minute, set menu narrative".

If that sounds insufferably pretentious, think of it in another way: an epic themed dinner party, with a killer soundtrack, highly atmospheric interiors and some bloody good food, where everyone's gone to a tonne of effort to ensure you, the diner, walks away thinking "...woah."

How much effort? Well, Survive (the Austin-based band behind the Stranger Things soundtrack) are composing an hour-long score just for the evening, inspired, as it should be, by horror movies and early nineties IDM.

Daniel Arsham, who you may know from his work at MOMA PS1 shows, or as one-half of bone-chillingly cool design firm Snarkitecture will be a "visual collaborator". Which means that the centerpiece will probably reach up out of the tablecloth and grab you by the wrist.

Meanwhile Peter Gunn of five-star Collingwood restaurant Ides will be taking care of the food. All-inclusive tickets to the dinner are $70, and can only be purchased by Sugar Mountain attendees. They'll be going on sale on November 16, here and are very limited.

No word yet on whether the evening's dessert will be Eggos inspired, but we can live in hope.

Sugar Mountain takes place on Saturday, January 21.
