Get up close and personal with the world’s sexiest grape variety at this year’s Pinot Palooza festival, an event dedicated to – you guessed it – pinot noir.

Now in its eighth year, Pinot Palooza is a celebration of great wine, kick-ass food and music, putting the spotlight on the finest pinot noirs produced in the southern hemisphere. It's coming to Melbourne on October 7 and on the day you’ll be able to try from over 100 Australian and Kiwi wine producers – and even a couple from France and Argentina – then cast your vote in the festival’s People’s Choice award.

Plus, Pinot Palooza have a strict no tokens policy. Your ticket includes booking fee, all wines and a crystal Plumm RedB glass valued at $35 which you’ll be able to take round and try drops from the likes of Curly Flat, Golden Child Wines, Dirty Three Winemakers, Josef Chromy, Dog point and more.

Food wise, expect to pair your pinot with wine-friendly goods from Yarra Valley Dairy, Blackbird, Maker and Monger and plenty more to be announced soon. Plus, if the pinot gets too much, there’s also beers, cider and frosé on offer.

Bottoms up!

Did you hear? Mr Miyagi is making drinking out of goon boxes cool again.
