In Melbourne, blue skies can be deceptive. Right now we're seeing a bit of sun, but according to the Bureau of Meteorology, this is going to change. Fast.
Meteorologists are predicting that last night's strong winds are only going to intensify during the week, as a cold front (from the sub-Antarctic waters, no less) brings rain, gale force winds and thunderstorms.

"We are likely to see thunderstorms develop from the west on Tuesday and a very cold air mass so some small hail is likely with the showers as well from Tuesday through to Wednesday afternoon," the Bureau of Meteorology's Rod Dickson told The Age. According to the Bureau, the coldest part of the week is likely to be Wednesday, with a maximum temperature of just 11.
Further inland, the Bureau is predicting "icy blasts" and heavy snow in the alpine region, as well as flood warnings in various parts of the state.
