Among the best things about winter in Melbourne is all the great winter gear the dogs get kitted out in. You'll spot these fashionable pooches tied to poles outside supermarkets, shivering between their humans' knees on coffee runs, and trotting along on Saturday morning walks. Without further ado, meet your new favourite Melburnians.

Let's kick things off with Jinkee, the toy poodle who thinks she's a little lamb.

This little homie looks ready to brave the morning chill at the park.

You wouldn't want to run into these two in a dark alley. #squadgoals (feat. Jinkee of Pinstapals again)

This is Lola the sight and hearing impaired dachshund and her kitty friend, all snug like a bug in a rug. Excuse me while I drown in a pool of my own tears.

Bentley the labradoodle is your Dad after a trip to Bali. He's probably wearing a pair of sensible closed-toe Birkenstocks.

Reasons why Honey the chihuahua loves winter: skivvies and warm lattes. Also, her parents run a doggy photography studio, so she knows how to work her best angles.

Jago the cocker spaniel puppy with a penchant for nautical wear is ready for punt down the Yarra.

But seriously, no one rocks a raincoat better than Master Arthur the Maltese. This is one dashing doggo.
