"G'Day! it's me... I was wondering if after 10 years in the game you'd finally like to meet me in: Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide?" says a handwritten note posted on Adele's website this morning, and reposted on her Twitter page.
That's right, after ten years in the business the English singer-songwriter is heading to Australia for the first time. She'll be making her way to Perth on February 28 and working her way to Melbourne on March 18, playing at the Etihad Stadium.
The 2017 tour will be the last leg of her global tour, and it's reported that her performances will be 360-degree 'in the round' shows. Her letter says: "In the round, outdoors and upgrading myself to stadiums to make sure I get to see as many of you as possible. I can't wait."
We can't wait either, Adele.
Ready those lungs for a singalong to 'Hello'. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday November 21.
