Win one of five Good Beer Week experiences to share with a mate

At Time Out, we believe that bigger is better when it comes to craft beer, and it doesn’t get much bigger than a whole week of celebration.

In just six years, Good Beer Week has grown into a festival of 270 events across Melbourne and Victoria that attracts 50,000 attendees from Australia and overseas.

If you’re a lover of beer, here is what is up for grabs from the program for ten lucky subscribers:

1. African Beer & Food Safari – Polepole Bar + Kitchen

Try three unique beers paired with three courses inspired by their country of origin. Entree (Ethiopia): St George Amber Ale paired with Berbere Wild Boar backstrap. Main (Kenya): Tusker Malt Lager paired with beef short ribs. Dessert (South Africa): Hansa Pilsener paired with Koeksister dumplings.

2. Cena Borracho Del Conquistador (The Conquistador's Boozy Dinner) – Penny Blue

Chef Paul Marc Le Noury comes to Penny Blue, bringing with him a multi-course Spanish-influenced menu. Then, to round things off, there are fine cheeses supplied by the Cheese Man. All of which will be paired with some awesome craft brews.

3. The Crafty Crowd-pleaser – The Botanical

The Botanical proudly presents a lovely balance of craft beers and crowd-pleasing food – resulting in a big combination of flavour, aroma and good times. They’re taking a group of hop lovers on a slick circuit of five pubs around inner Melbourne.

4. Two Birds & Babu – Babu Ji

Flavoursome, fascinating beers are served alongside innovative street food at Indian restaurant Babu Ji. Two Birds will supply beers to suit a good time with your mates, while the head chefs spice things up with Tandoor delights and slow-food curries.

5. Discover Italy – The Royal Saxon

Discover Italy upstairs at the Royal Saxon. Feast on delicious Italian food; drink cold beers from Birra Del Borgo; and learn from some of the best Italian brewers in the business.
