Living on the French end of Toorak Road is local favourite, South Press Wine Bar. Part bottle shop, part plush eatery, this restaurant has a leafy courtyard that’s hard to leave on a sunny day. So, grab a bottle of something pink and really nestle in with a DIY antipasto board. Our recommendation is to go straight to the shared platter with two meats and two cheeses ($45) and add in some delicious extras, like the chicken liver parfait with peach chutney ($22) or the white anchovies with guanciale, rye toast, and shallot ($14). On the cheese front you can’t go past the coffee-rubbed Bellavitano Espresso, paired beautifully with a spicy capocollo pork salami.
