We can’t claim to understand the mysterious depths of Josh Lefers and Stephen Wools minds, but we can marvel at what comes out. The pair own Big Dog Creative and make Fog City cider. Lefers is also responsible for East-meets-Western-suburbs old school Chinese restaurant Happy Palace. And now the pair have teamed up with some other eccentric and creative folk to open General Store and Co: a bar where you enter through the doors of a Kelvinator fridge and get sucked into a world where you can drink hard liquor, get a hair cut, buy some boots or huff a tin of anchovies straight of the shelves of the bar/café/grocery supply store. They're open all day – from 7am for coffee, and till 3am for dancing. Oh, and there’s a trout farm, because, obviously. Stay tuned for the verdict.
