Big Mouth's Art Deco facade has seen all sorts of tenants come through its doors on the corner of St Kilda's Acland Street over the years. From previous iterations as a wax museum, ballroom, and tea shop to its current life as a restaurant and bar, Big Mouth is a St Kilda venue with a kooky history to match its surroundings.
The vibe downstairs at the entrance-level cafe and bar is more pub than club but make no mistake, a boogie will likely form around you as St Kilda revelers come up to the upstairs bar and lounge area. The Bamboo Room restaurant space upstairs is also a great spot for a pre-boogie meal looking out to Acland St.
