[title]This silly season, Melbourne's getting a brand new Christmas-themed pop-up bar. From December 7 to December 23, Bar Humbug is an adults-only zone that's going to dish up Christmas bangers (hello Mariah!), festive cocktails and Insta-worthy photo opps we well as photo booths.
Wander through the Christmas installations and take some silly selfies with the displays, or find someone special and takes advantage of the Mistletoe corner. Should you stop by the Grotty Christmas Grotto, you might as well get a picture with the in-house bad Santa, though you may be surprised to see how he lets loose when he’s off the clock.
The music will feature all your Christmas faves, with everyone from Mariah Carey, Wham, Michael Bublé, to Justin Bieber set to make appearances on the pop-up bar's playlist. Bottom line is, this isn't going to be your typical Christmas pop-up with carols and snowmen. So if you think you're going to be on the naughty list this year, come on board!
You can find Bar Humbug at 338 Queensberry St, North Melbourne. Entry is $20 on weeknights and $25 on weekends, and tickets grant you entry for two hours. Session times available on the Bar Humbug website. There are limited sessions across the two weeks and many have already booked out, so get in quick!
