Australian Bitters and Dry July mocktail competition

Who says mocktails are boring? Dry July and Australian Bitters are teaming up for a competition from July 1-31 to find the best mocktail creations

Mixologists and bartenders from all over Australia have been busy concocting the perfect booze-free beverage for Australian Bitters and Dry July's mocktail competition. Those who have thrown their hat in the ring to win the top prize of $5000 in cash were asked to create a tasty mocktail using as many fresh ingredients as they'd like, as well as one or more products from the Australian Bitters range.

The shortlisted mocktails – one each from 50 venues around Australia – have been chosen by the Dry July and Australian Bitters team and will be sold at the venues from July 1-31 alongside Australian Bitter's take on a classic mocktail: the Lemon, Lime and Australian Bitters.

Melbourne venues getting in on the mocktail competition include: Madame Brussels, Nieuw Amsterdam, The Post Office Hotel, The Woolshed, Toko, and Carlisle Wine Bar. Check out their submissions to the competition

The winning Dry July mocktail and winner of the $5000 cash prize will be announced on August 10. Give your favourite participating bar some love to increase their chances to win by taking a photo of their mocktail and tagging #mymocktail #australianbitters on Instagram.

Psst. Want another chance to win?

Tell us which is your favourite Melbourne mocktail from the list - for your chance to walk away with a $200 voucher for that venue. Entries close Monday, August 1.
