Manchester Jewish Museum team up with leading audiovisual masterminds Video Jam this November for an intimate programme of contemporary short films, set to a variety of live musical accompaniment in the city's oldest synagogue.
The films will explore concepts of faith and ritual, and will include 'Twelfth Man', 'In Search of Silent Landscapes', 'Brébeuf', 'Taklif' and more, while music is in the capable hands of Flamingods (who have been commissioned to score an extract from 'Baraka'), Alex Cottrell, Sacred Sounds Women's Choir, Layfullstop and Metaphysical Human.
Video Jam nights are always a hit, meaning this one's more than likely to sell out so act fast if you want in.
