Join the official free opening of the festival with an Arts and Crafts Fair featuring a range of stalls selling bespoke jewellery, personalised gifts, photography and more, plus a day packed with entertainment for all the family taking place in and around the Festival Bell Tent at St Clement's Church.
The day breaks down like this:
11am–4:30pm: Chorlton Arts Festival Arts and Crafts Fair
12–1pm: children’s book reading and workshop including mask making and hand painting
1–4pm: live music from a range of acts including North and South Duo and guitarist Amy Marsden
1:30–4pm: Dr Julius Fetherstonehaugh will be showing off his miraculous portable museum of objects collected during his many travels and you can contribute your own objects to his ever expanding collection
2–4:30pm: join artist Simone Ridyard and the Manchester Urban Sketching Group and create your own Festival Saturday sketch – just make sure that you take a sketchbook and drawing materials
