Corking views over St Ann's Square and into the Great Hall help make this a popular spot for those seeing a show at the Royal Exchange Theatre. Some, though, visit just for the restaurant, with its good value menus a big draw. There's a British bent to most of it, and the execution is sound. If you're pushed for time before the show you can even request your dessert at the interval - the sticky toffee pudding is good.
