One of a well-regarded chain of Argentinian steakhouses throughout the UK, this Manchester branch is an opulent dining experience, with a plush setting, service that's second to none and some very, very good steaks.
A warm welcome at the glitzy reception leads through to a beautifully designed dining room comprising a main room with two mezzanine levels. A glass ceiling sheds light throughout, and what was once a large pipe organ - now painted to white to match the monochrome aesthetic - dominates one end of the restaurant. Cow hide-covered seating, clean lines, attention to detail, it's all very impressive - a visual feast before you've even sat down.
Different cuts of steak are explained in a very relaxed manner so you don't feel stupid asking questions about the difference between a rump and ribeye, and the staff know exactly how these cuts are best cooked. Needless to say, the quality is very high, justifying the slightly lofty price point. Wines complement the food to perfection, too.
A wonderful dining experience.
