Although more of a beer lover’s haunt, Scottish group Brewdog are celebrating the Bard of Ayrshire with a whisky tasting dinner. A trio of whiskies will be provided, each from a different year and region, followed by a traditional three-course feast.

Pub group Nicholsons' three central Manchester outlets are also hosting Burns Night events. From January 22 – January 25, a three-course menu including Cullen Skink, haggis and cranchan and washed down with a measure of Glenfiddich will be on offer at all of their pubs.
