Horror escape room coming to Manchester

Advertising

Ever watched a horror film and thought ‘I’d definitely stay alive’? Now’s your chance to prove it with the launch of an immersive horror game right here in Manchester.

Trapped Up North will take over part of the Great Northern Warehouse from August to December this year and offer three terrifying experiences based on iconic horror movies.

Those who choose the Jigsaw will find themselves with an hour to solve a grotesque purity test or be forced to face The Judge, a prolific serial killer who has escaped from prison; in Quarantine the team will have to enter the contamination zone to find an antidote to a deadly virus within 60 minutes or be sealed in and exposed to the plague; while Cabin Fever players will have to venture into a cabin in the woods belonging to a group of bloodthirsty woodland dwellers to rescue a member of the group who has been kidnapped.

The attraction comes from House of the Dead and the creators promise an ‘experience like no other’.

So if you find the traditional escape room just not exciting enough and want something more extreme, or just fancy seeing how long you’d last in a horror film, it could be the attraction for you. Don't have nightmares!

Trapped Up North, Saturday August 1-Wednesday December 23, Great Northern Warehouse, Deansgate. Tickets for Jigsaw and Quarantine are on sale now, with Cabin Fever available shortly. Suitable for players aged 12+ although parental discretion is advised for those under the age of 15.
