If you’ve ever wanted to make a statement and really feel the breeze while out cycling, then the World Naked Bike Ride in Manchester could be the event for you.

For the fifth year, the clothing-optional jaunt returns to Manchester to promote both safer cycling and positive body image.

Participants can ride as bare as they dare - don’t worry, it’s all been given the green light by the police – or dress in a colourful and eye-catching costume. Many riders also choose to paint slogans and phrases on their bodies.

Last year, more than 200 cyclists took to the streets of the city to celebrate bicycles and bodies.

So if you fancy riding your bike in the buff, this year’s Manchester event starts at All Saints Park near Manchester Metropolitan University and is expected to take about an hour.

World Naked Bike Ride Manchester, Friday 12 June, All Saints Park, Cavendish Street. Arrive 6pm for 7pm start.
