Regularly streamed internationally online from cities as diverse as London, Lyon, New York and Tokyo, cult party Boiler Room returns to Manchester this Thursday 13th once more in association with Magners Cider, kicking off a five event series across the UK celebrating the finest local DJ talent.
In Manchester, their exclusive event at XOLO will be fronted by no other than Ruf Dug, the celebrated local producer and thrillingly versatile DJ whose sets and productions are feted by international tastemakers such as Fabric's Craig Richards, Ben UFO and Moodymann. Just as adept in laying on absorbing, balaeric styles - as he did on this year's exquisite 'Island' LP on cult label Music for Dreams - his DJ sets also warp into melting pots of dark house and dreamy disco, keeping any crowd on their feet and toes, as well as off their phones.
Those briefly departing the dancefloor will also find a selection of complimentary, mouth watering BBQ food, as well as plenty of ice cold Magners Cider. The event runs from 7-11PM and it's all free, but attendees must register for guestlist at boileroom.tv/magnerssundown. That doesn't guarantee entry, however, so get down early.
XOLO is located just off Oxford Road, on New Wakefield Street.
