The Pen and Pencil

Spice things up with a visit to The Pen and Pencil: a bar and restaurant that takes its name from an infamous mid-20th century bar on New York’s Steak Row. While Mad Men don't frequent this bar, the vibe definitely pays homage to the NYC industrial era. As for the food, the menu is stellar, offering up a range of delicious brunch options, as well as American classics like Philly Cheesesteak and – believe it or not – a PB&J burger. Not for the fainthearted and most certainly for the adventurous, this is a unique spot to visit.
