Time Out says

When Odd first opened its doors back when the Northern Quarter was only a baby, it was among maybe five or six other bars in the area all offering something a little different. Odd, as you may imagine from the name, offered a strange assortment of trinkets, furniture, drinks and staff as it strove to stand out from the small crowd. Doing simple things well, it was a local bar for the up-and- coming local scene.

Though the Northern Quarter is now awash with bars, cafés, restaurants and gastropubs, Odd has persevered by sticking to its guns and keeping things simple. Good music, good food and a fine, sometimes bizarre selection of beers, wines and spirits. They host music nights on Sundays, curated by Americana Mancs The Travelling Band, some of the city’s freshest DJs over the weekends, a surreal comedy night once a month and a very popular pub quiz every Wednesday. Odd is as varied as the many trophies and tat that adorn its walls and shelves.
