From the centre of the 'Movida Madrileña' to a trendy neighbourhood, Malasaña has been through some changes in the last few decades. Nowadays modern restaurants and second-hand clothes shops live side-by-side with traditional bars and markets. It’s also one of the city’s favourite areas for a night out.
