Built as one of the star infrastructures for Madrid's candidacy for the 2016 Olympic Games, Caja Mágica is a multipurpose stadium in the San Fermín neighbourhood and the venue for the Mutua Madrid Open tennis tournament. This sports complex was designed by French architect Dominique Perrault, at a cost of €294 million. It boasts three clay tennis courts with mobile covers and smaller indoor courts.
