There’s no better location for a market than in the open air in the heart of the Malasaña barrio. Every Saturday in spring and autumn, dozens of stalls are set up in Plaza del Dos de Mayo selling books, vinyl records, clothes, accessories, crafts and design articles, and much more. The stallholders are always changing, so you’re likely to find surprises every Saturday, and there are workshops, parades and photo marathons scheduled, along with other activities. It’s the best way to spend a sunny day in Madrid.
