Founded in 1855, this pastry shop is a classic in Madrid. It started out as a place to get 'turrones' (nougats, typical of Christmastime), but nowadays they make all sorts of artisanal desserts. The shop itself is gorgeous, its antique façade still intact, the walls covered in mahogany and mirrors, and the window display full of sweet temptations.
