Zhou Yulong (CLOSED)

Even though the official name of the restaurant is Zhou Yulong, everyone calls it ‘the Chinese place in Plaza de España’, and it’s famous among locals in Madrid. You’ll find it in the underground car park of the square where you’ll find a queue of hungry customers waiting all hours of the day to dig in to the coveted noodle and rice dishes and other delights. Zhou Yulong’s fame is well deserved, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the portions are abundant. Even though the space is small and the decor isn’t as cool as other spots in the city, this is a local classic that you’ve got to try at least once.
