Aflame with colour and funky Mexicana (indigenous art, skeletons and so on), The Belly Comes First is a Mexican cantina that has conquered Madrid with its nachos con guacamole. The most original item on the menu is the pollocabreado, a chicken dish made with cabrales cheese from Asturias (hence the name) and chipotle sauce with smoked jalapeño peppers. There's no skimping on the spices, either - the chilli pepper symbols next to certain dishes on the menu indicate the heat factor.
