La Sonrisa de Julia

After more than a decade playing together, this band from Cantabria is giving a very special farewell concert on the 23rd at Joy Eslava. Marcos Casal Cao (vocals, guitar and piano), Raúl Delgado (drums) and Curro Moral (piano) won the Rock Villa Madrid contest in 2003 and since then have become one of the biggest bands in Spain and regulars at big festivals. After releasing five albums, ‘Caminos Diferentes’ (2004), ‘Volver a empezar’ (2006), ‘Bipolar’ (2008), ‘El hombre que olvidó su nombre’ (2011) and ‘El viaje del sonámbulo’ (2013), the trio rides off into the sunset with heads held high and leaving their mark in our musical memory.
