In 2015 Canadian band Black Mountain celebrated the ten-year anniversary of the release of their first album, and now they're about to release their fourth, aptly titled 'IV'. It wouldn't be a surprise if that title were also paying homage to Led Zeppelin, considering the debt Black Mountain owe to bands out of the '60s and '70s that invented hard rock, prog rock, psychedelia and acid rock – Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, King Crimson, Black Sabbath, Grateful Dead and their ilk Led by singer, songwriter and guitarist Stephen McBean and singer Amber Webber, their music takes fans on a hypnotic trip.
