Espacio Abierto Quinta de los Molinos is the first cultural centre run by the Madrid city government that's dedicated exclusively to children. Located in the little palace in the flowery Quinta de los Molinos, which has belonged to City Hall since 1982, offers an array of cultural programmes focused on the youngest members of the family (from babies up to age 16), including theatre plays and other shows, workshops and plenty of activities of all kinds. It's also a living room away from home for young people where they can spend time reading a comic or a book, playing freely, or having a snack. City Hall wants this 'Open Space' to be a place where kids can go and have fun and learn in an environment that fosters creativity.
