The Santander's glamorous, gilded entranceway makes for a foyer with character, and if you can get over the rather offputting list of house rules (no visitors after midnight, no noise after 11pm, for example) you'll enjoy your stay. The rooms are elegant, kitted out with decent furniture and wooden floors. Some are more like suites, with small seating areas where you can have breakfast - room 105 is particularly bright and spacious.
