One of the more recent bear bars is also one of the most popular. With a decor in line with bear bars in Los Angeles or San Francisco, Zarpa's clientele are up for a pick-up and a lot of fun. They follow the formula of showing music videos that are popular with the gay crowd, safe bets such as Britney, Madonna, Gaga, but they also push the boat out once in a while with queer rap from the likes of Cazwell and Big Deeper. They also publish a calendar every year featuring photos of members of the Titanes gay rugby team, who also frequent the bar, so T-shirts with a bear paw on them are practically an offical dress code.
