There are a handful of locations of this chain across Madrid; they’re strategically placed and enjoy a local clientele. They have a good quality-price ratio and a menu that, based on flavours from the north of Spain, is pleasing to many palates (like the delicious Idiazábal cheese in tempura and the home-cooked nuggets, the ‘salmorejo’ and the black risotto). If you can, avoid going to this La Latina tavern at weekends —it just gets too crowded. It’s better to get a portion of their Spanish omelette midweek.
