Time Out says

After opening Barcelona's Masa Vins to great success in spring 2023, Antonella Tignanelli opened Masa in Chamberí’s trendy Plaza de Olavide. Here, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the décor is simple but sophisticated, with white brick, mirrors, and metallic details. Natural wine is the star of the show, and the bar is gaining more and more fans, who come for the chilled-out yet buzzy atmosphere. The soundtrack might be anything from The Black Keys to salsa icon Willie Colón – whatever it is, it'll be playing on vinyl.

The menu is seasonal, although some dishes are permanent fixtures. The most popular is a Mexican-style raw tuna on toast, which makes for a crunchy, tasty and slightly spicy mouthful. For a more substantial meal, order the pumpkin gnocchi or the sea bass crudo.

When it comes to wine, it's best to let the team recommend you something. You'll find bottles from Slovenia, Hungary and Czechia, since the owners also started their own business distributing wines from Eastern Europe and overall it's an eclectic list with an emphasis on family- and female-run wineries. Besides wine, they have kombucha, colas, and even a couple of beers – but here, it's really all about the vino.
