This contemporary art gallery is located in the landmark building by architect Antonio Palacios in C/Alcalá. Conceived originally as the headquarters for Banco Mercantil e Industrial, the edifice underwent a major renovation in 2002 to reveal it how it looks today, spacious and with a flagstome dome occupying the central nave. The exhibitions, funded the Community of Madrid, are always free and are specialised in visual and plastic arts by international young as well as established artists.
