Originally scheduled for March 19 and 20, this tasting fest “has been postponed due to uncertainties with the event’s programming elements.” Though no future date has been given, the event website states that Bravo is “evaluating dates to reschedule at a later time.”
Universal Studios is already where you can get a behind-the-scenes peek at the silver screen and how movies get made, but for two days in March, you can see what a day on the set of one of the world's most famous cooking shows is like.
March 19 and 20, Bravo is throwing a Top Chef food and wine festival on the grounds of the theme park, complete with live-fire cooking challenges, bottomless tastings from celebrity chefs, live entertainment, photo ops and a keepsake or two.
Top Chef alum—and Ms Chi restaurateur—Shirley Chung is helping to curate the menu and the days' events, which includes dishes such as roasted red snapper with green-tomato salsa verde; lechon with papaya pico de gallo; and liquid nitrogen chocolate mousse. And because this fest is all-inclusive, expect wine, beer and cocktails on hand, too, all night long.
Want to visit the festival and the park? There's a day/night pass for that (at $199), which gets you in at noon, or opt for the Top Chef-only option ($179) and arrive at 7pm.
