Time Out says

The loop at Temescal Canyon winds through a densely wooded, well-maintained trail with sweeping ocean views and a seasonal waterfall. This Santa Monica Mountains park is a popular spot, but thankfully not popular enough to be plagued by dog doo and parking woes. You’ll experience vast, breathtaking views that span from Catalina to Downtown and enough varied terrain to keep you and your furry friend going—all the way to the Valley, should you dare. Just don’t miss the stop signs. Seriously. They’re photo enforced, and you’ll be sent a $100 fine if you roll through.
