Spring Street Park

Time Out says

Spring Street Park brings the first substantial, much-needed green space to Downtown's Historic Core revival. What was once a parking lot has given way to a lawn, playground and seating area tucked away in the shade of luxury lofts. Don't expect enough space to throw around a Frisbee, but the small yet sophisticated park offers just enough greenery and seating to to linger in an area that's increasingly worth the time to visit. Of course, like all cool things in LA, the park can't escape controversy: A pending divider will keep vicious Pomeranians away from the playground area, and a lengthy list of posted rules shouts the park's dog doo policy.
