Spa Montage is the Disneyland of LA's spas. With a sprawling 20,000 square feet, this bi-level beauty sanctuary is the destination for those that like big and don't mind grand. You'll take a trip to Andalusia for the day at this Moorish-themed—red-tiled roofs, earth-colored stones, mosaic tiles and grand arches set the, albeit a little, clichéd design—villa inside Beverly Hills' Montage hotel. The subterranean spa (take the elevator down from the lobby) features 17 (count 'em, 17) treatment rooms and an aqua-therapy centerpiece: A sky-lit mineral pool is where couples, groups and co-eds can plunge, lounge and relax. There are also separate men's and women's mineral tubs, alongside herbal steam room, dry sauna and whirlpool. Groups that want privacy or VIP service can book a Spa Soirée ($250 per person) which hosts six to 15 people for a 60-minute service and day-use of the facilities, while men can beautify with a Gentleman's Executive Facial ($225 for 60 minutes, $295 for 90 minutes) or a proper shave ($65-$75). Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of the gym complete with pilates and yoga studios and rooftop salt-water pool, complete with private cabanas for hire. Other highlights include a full-dining menu with low-cal, spa cuisine items and old-meets-new services from aromatherapy—try the Anointing ($270), a 90-minute massage using custom blend of aromatherapy rose essence along your chakras and Vichy shower rain therapy—to lymph drainage massage ($205 for 60 minutes, $285 for 90 minutes, $390 for 120 minutes); it's how the 90210 does holistic.
