Song in Residence: Tea Bar

Peter Luong of Song Tea, an artisanal tea company from the Bay Area, will be brewing a selection of high-quality loose-leaf varieties at How’s It Going to End? in Montrose on Saturday and Go Get Em Tiger at ROW DTLA on Sunday. The pop-up tea bar includes your choice of two teas, with a limit of six guests per 50-minute session. One seat at each of the four time slots (10am, 11:15am, 1pm and 2:15pm) will be held for walk-ins. Each $50 ticket includes an intimate guided session with Luong, who will delve into the history of each tea varietal, how his company curates and sources tea leaves, and how to best steep each varietal for maximal enjoyment. Next Friday and Saturday, Song will also pop up at Fellow store on Abbot Kinney in Venice.
