Slideluck LA

Combine a pot luck with a photo slide show, and you have the gist of this annual art-driven community event. Over 20 artists have been invited to display their work in the slide show component, with each piece set to audio. And the pot luck? It's a mix of catered food by Chef Perry Pollaci (The Royce) and homemade treats—plus there's a $5 open bar with libations from Angel City Brewing Co. and Sovereign Winery. This year's fest, the seventh annual, takes place at the Space in Hollywood (6608 Lexington Ave) and is curated by Krista Martin, photo curator for American Apparel, and Michael Hawley, art collector and former president of the Photographic Arts Council, Los Angeles.
