If only all art classes involved a bottle of wine; the good news is that Still Life Studio's does, or at least its collab class with Rappahannock Oyster Bar does.
The DTLA- and Santa Monica-based ceramics studio took its Rosé & Clay course digital, and now you can take the Friday class at home thanks to the Still Life's Instagram Live—and you won't even need to leave your house for materials.
Each class package runs $35 and includes a bottle of wine from Rappahannock, plus a pound of clay, which you'll use during the hands-on course as instructor Sasha Wachtel leads you through a few forms, which could include pitchers, plates, cups and beyond. Want to share your wine and take the class with a buddy? You can even tack on an extra pound of clay for $5.
You can order the Rosé & Clay special for pickup at Rappahannock, located in the Arts District's ROW DTLA center, or order online for delivery through the restaurant's Caviar page.
Once you've completed the class, email hello@stilllifeceramics.com for instructions on how to get your piece fired and finished, then pour yourself another glass. You've earned it. Like we said: If only every art class came with a bottle of wine.
