Time Out says

Sometimes dead is better, and sometimes two is better than one: For a night of horror, Hollywood's American Cinematheque is teaming up with Montclair's Mission Tiki Drive In theater and genre-film group Beyond Fest for a double feature that could raise the dead.

On Thursday, July 30, Mission Tiki—one of the best drive-ins in Southern California—is hosting a back-to-back screening of 1985's Re-Animator and the original 1989 Pet Sematary

Things kick off at 8:30pm when med student Herbert West discovers a reanimation syrum that can bring back the living (er, sort of) in this cult-classic horror comedy, while the second film of the night—an iconic Stephen King tale—reminds us that some bodies should stay buried (oh, and that children are terrifying).

Tickets range from $15 to $50, depending on how many passengers you'll be brining in your car, and there are plenty of refreshments for sale onsite. You can only purchase advance tickets for this scream of a double header, and as it's likely to sell out, you'll want to arrive roughly an hour early.
