Vintage Hallowe’en Revelry
For a classy, classic alternative to your typical costume party, the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles is hosting an inaugural vintage Halloween experience in the historic Oviatt Penthouse. Paper Moon Vintage’s Nicole Marsak will present a collection of vintage costumes from the 1920s and ’30s. And vaudevillian duo (and Magic Castle regulars) the Cosmic Romantics will host a séance and close-up magic. There will also be music, refreshments, a cash bar, an Art Deco scavenger hunt and awards given out for best handmade costume and best true vintage costume, so get creative with your getups! Space is limited, so there are three timed entry slots; each experience will last 90 minutes.
