Opening Ceremony—“The Jeweled Isle: Art from Sri Lanka”

See an oil lamp lighting ceremony, traditional Sri Lankan dances and drum performances to mark the opening of “The Jeweled Isle: Art from Sri Lanka” at LACMA. The free event, held in the museum’s Urban Light-adjacent entrance plaza, includes routines by the Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts and Thath Jith Dance Company.
